To close out 2015, we wanted to thank all of our friends, guests and partners for a great year of sushi, robata and Japanese cuisine. We created more than a few memories with flavorful dishes from the sushi and robata bar’s, spirited concoctions from the lounge, and hosted celebrations, both public & private. We provided a gathering place for new friends who shared dishes, thoughts and moments. Relive some of those experiences with us!
We created more than a few memories with flavorful dishes from the sushi and robata bar’s, spirited concoctions from the lounge, and hosted celebrations, both public & private. We provided a gathering place for new friends to shared dishes, thoughts and moments with each other. Thank you Orlando, let’s do it again in 2016!
Omakase – A staple in traditional Japanese eateries across the globe, we brought our version of omakase to Orlando and rolled out seasonal omakase specials throughout the year. Check out some of the feedback from Orlando’s best food writers. GoEpicurista, SporkOrlando, The Primlini Kitchen, TastyChops.
Magical Dining Month – Every year, Visit Orlando puts the partnership call out to the area’s best restaurants to promote Magical Dining Month. A month-long benefit designed to draw exposure to the award-winning food & wine scene in Orlando while raising money for a local charity in need. This year, $1 from every meal served was donated to ELEVATE Orlando. We were happy to help!
Craft Cocktails – Creating flavorful concoctions is one of our specialties, just check out our beverage menu! All those great concoctions start with the freshest ingredients, homemade bitters & infusions and a healthy pour of creativity. All of this won us the #4 best Happy Hour spot in Orlando from GoEpicurista. Here’s a quick link to that award-winning menu!
Community Events – This year, we took the show on the road and attended a variety of events designed to help benefit Orlando area charities, and support the growth of Orlando cuisine in the eyes of the foodie world. Some of those off-site events included: Taste of Windermere, Wine & Dine on the 9, Cows n’ Cabs, Taste of Dr. Phillips and Taste of the Nations.
Not one to keep the crew travelling, we also rolled out a new interactive experience within the building. November marked our first of what will become a bi-monthly event for us in 2016…Behind the Knife, a sushi class experience. The class lets 25 guests get hands-on and learn to roll their own (sushi that is) with Orlando’s sushi masters. Our friends at SporkOrlando published a great piece on the class, check it out.
A Golden Spoon and a whole lot more – Capping off 2015, we were awarded the coveted Florida Trend Golden Spoon Award. This was just a taste of the many highlights from 2015. Want to see more? Make a reservation to check us out in person, or follow us on social media!
