New Year’s Eve is a time to celebrate the connections and memories you made throughout the year. It’s a time to look toward the future, and if you love Japanese cuisine as much as we do—it’s a time to enjoy sushi, saké and shōchū!
If you want the best sushi and Japanese in Gainesville, your plans should include Dragonfly Sushi & Sake Company, and you’ll want to get started early! Our happy hour will run from 5-7pm, and the happy hour menu will feature $6 dollar house cocktails, $3 beer and house spirits, and food starting at just $4.
As we get the Evening rolling, Chef Jeff and his team have created several unique dishes to showcase the fundamentals of Japanese cuisine. These dishes will only be available on New Year’s Eve, so make sure you’re a part of the celebrations and try our:
- Bubbly Cocktail—iichiko, hibiscus simple syrup, plum bitters, topped with prosecco & hibiscus flower garnish
- Cobia—sous vide in soy, honey & miso brown butter, served with roasted tomato, yuzu, shiso aoili, tomato crisp, thai basil
- Lamb Chop with Risotto—white soy, ginger, shiso marinated and grilled, king crab mizuna puree served with grilled asparagus
- Truffles—chef’s secret selection
To round out 2015, belly up to our indoor/outdoor bar where we’ll have late night drink specials and celebrate the ball dropping. We’ll celebrate 2015 in style with the best collection of rare Japanese whisky, house-made infusions and specialty saké in Gainesville.
