A Kid’s Summer Cooking Program

This summer, treat your kids to an experience that’s educational, fun—and TASTY with our Future Foodies sushi making and baking classes.

During the kid’s summer cooking program, our Master Chef’s will teach the children (ages 8-13) basic kitchen skills while sharing some Japanese secrets along the way. Classes are interactive and engaging, and we’ll share our creations with a fun group meal once class wraps.

Pastry & Baking Classes

At the kid’s summer cooking pastry and baking classes, we’ll be teaching the little chef’s how to make rice flour that is perfect for both pizzas and sweets. After class, we’ll have a group meal to enjoy the food prepared during class. All class participants will receive take-home instructions on everything made during class, and a how-to for making the perfect sushi rice, California rolls, and nigiri at home, and a discount on a sushi making kit and Japanese snacks from the market.

—–FAQs—–

> My child is over or under the age limit range. Can they still attend?
We’d like to restrict sales to the stated age range, but please call us if you feel the class would be a good fit for your child and you would like them to attend. If the circumstances are correct, we could relax restrictions. To reach us with questions, please call (305) 222.7447.

> Are tickets required for attendance?
Yes. One ticket is required for each child in attendance.

> My child cannot attend a class we purchased tickets for. Can I get a refund?
With 24-hour or more notice, we will issue you a complete refund for any class you’re unable to attend. Inside 24 hours, we may not be able to fill your reserved seat(s). So, for any refund requests inside of 24-hours, we will issue you a Dragonfly Gift card for the total paid for your unused event ticket(s).

> I purchased two or more classes for my child, how do I get my multi-class discount?
When you purchase two or more classes for one child, we will lower the per ticket price to $35 per ticket. The discount will come in the form of a rebate applied back to the card used to make the purchase. To be eligible for the discount, you must purchase two or more classes for the same child. All rebates will be applied after the class has been completed.
